The only organization of its kind in the Ottawa area and located on 200 acres of stunning farmland, the Waupoos Foundation has been providing respite and retreat opportunities for the last 40 years in a safe and loving rural environment to children and their families living below the poverty line. Their farm offers qualified families week long stays during the summer as well as long weekends throughout the year. Their dedicated teams of volunteers and resident farm families provide a summer camp experience for children, complete with swimming, sports, crafts and nature activities, giving parents the opportunity to rest and grow together in a community setting.

With over 7000 families having enjoyed their time on the farm and over 25,000 who have benefited from its facilities, Waupoos has created an inspiring environment to assist families in need in a community setting that creates lasting memories and indispensable life-long relationships.
